Barista

Barista / Console Operator 

In this dual role, you’ll excel in both coffee making and customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to consistently serve great coffee swiftly while delivering top-notch service to our valued customers.

Position Vacancy:

• casual position
• shift times: 5am -12pm, 5am-2pm
• shifts per week: 3-4 shifts per week
• weekends: includes shifts on weekends
• weekday rates: $33.99/hour weekday (Ages 20+)
• weekend rates: $44.34/hour weekend (Ages 20+)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, ensuring consistency and excellence in taste and presentation
• Keep coffee machines and other equipment clean and in good working order to ensure the quality and efficiency of beverage preparation.
• Operate the console system efficiently to process fuel transactions accurately.
• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
• Monitor fuel pumps and maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the fuelling area.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience working as a barista in a coffee shop, café, or similar establishment.
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early morning and weekends
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented culture.
