Console Operator (Closing Shifts)

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver top-notch service to our valued customers.

Position Vacancy:

• casual position
• shift times: 11am-5pm, 5pm-10pm (closing shifts)
• Closing shifts are solo from 5pm, and require ages 18+
• shifts per week: 2-3 shifts per week
• includes weekends
• weekday rates: $35.18/hour weekday (Ages 20+) junior rates apply under age 20
• weekend rates: $45.89/hour weekend (Ages 20+) junior rates apply under age 20

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the console system efficiently to process fuel transactions accurately.
• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
• Handle cash, card, and electronic transactions with precision and attention to detail.
• Monitor fuel pumps and maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the fuelling area.
• Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and complete required paperwork.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work late shifts, including weekends.
• Current RSA (or willing to complete the online training)
