Console Operator

• Junior console operator
• Casual position
• 2-3 shifts per week
• 1 x weekend shift 
• (Sat: 6am-2pm or 10am-2pm/Sun: 8am-2pm)
• 2 x weekday shifts (5pm-8pm)

As a Junior Console Operator at The Station Grocer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring our environment remains clean and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently operate the console system to accurately process fuel transactions.
• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance and guidance as needed.
• Handle cash, card, and electronic transactions with precision and care.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks throughout the store, including restrooms, counters, and forecourt areas, to ensure a tidy environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive and enjoyable work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Demonstrate initiative.
• Flexibility to work through the Xmas period is desirable.
