Kitchen All Rounder

Become a valued part of The Station Grocer Lennox Head team as a Kitchen All Rounder.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and assembly of our freshly made menu items. This includes sandwiches, rolls, wraps, salads, and other daily offerings. You will also be required to work as a short order cook on the grill, preparing items from our breakfast menu.

Position Vacancy:

• casual position
• shift times: 5am- 1pm
• shifts per week: Saturday and Sunday
• weekend rates: $44.34/hour weekend (Ages 20+)

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft a diverse selection of sandwiches, rolls, wraps, and salads using premium, fresh ingredients.
• Grill up our delicious hot breakfast menu
• Ensure consistency in the taste, presentation, and quality of our food offerings.
• Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen to uphold food safety and hygiene.
• A self-starter with excellent initiative who can thrive working independently.

Training & Support:
You’ll receive thorough training from our experienced and skilled staff. This role is ideal for someone who is available every weekend, loves an early start and can confidently work solo and take charge of their daily tasks.

• Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in a kitchen/grill and food preparation role is required.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
