• weekend rates: $45.89/hour weekend (Ages 20+) junior rates apply < 20

As Kitchen All Rounder at The Station Grocer, you will be an important part of our kitchen team, helping to deliver fresh, on-trend food items to our customers. Your role includes preparing and assembling our daily cold food menu (sandwiches, rolls, wraps, baguettes, and salads) as well as breakfast items on the grill. You will also maintain a clean and organised kitchen and apply your knowledge of safe food handling practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft a diverse selection of sandwiches, rolls, wraps, baguettes and salads using premium, fresh ingredients.
• Ensure consistency in the taste, presentation, and quality of our food offerings.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen to uphold food safety and hygiene.
• Uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional food experiences by adhering to strict quality control measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Hold a food safety certificate or willingness to obtain one during onboarding.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Availability for early mornings and weekend shifts.
