Maintenance Technician

Location: Ballina, servicing Northern NSW

Salary: $70,000 + Super + opportunity for overtime and on-call allowances

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Are you a hands-on tradie or labourer looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in building, trades, or maintenance roles and enjoy keeping things running smoothly? We’re on the hunt for a Maintenance Technician to join our team, supporting retail sites such as service stations and bakeries.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll report directly to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for:

• General Maintenance: Fixing, repairing, and improving site facilities.
• Preventative Maintenance: Identifying and resolving potential issues before they become problems.
• Site Upkeep: Ensuring all sites meet our high standards of presentation and safety.

This isn’t a desk job—you’ll be rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done across multiple sites.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a building trade, maintenance, or similar hands-on role.

Previous work on job sites (construction, retail maintenance, etc.).

A proactive, can-do attitude—someone who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Basic problem-solving and organisational skills.

A current clean driver’s license (essential).
