Stock Controller/Console Operator

The Station Grocer – Lennox Head

We’re looking for a reliable, organised and fast-working Stock Controller / Customer Service Operator to join our Lennox Head team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys repetitive, process-driven work, likes keeping things organised, and takes pride in maintaining accurate stock levels. While customer service is part of the role, the primary focus is ensuring our store is well stocked, well presented and running efficiently.

Position Details

• Monday to Friday
• Shifts vary from 5am-12pm, 12pm-6pm or 1pm-6pm
• Weekday rate: $36.85 per hour (ages 20+)
• Weekend rate: $48.07 per hour (ages 20+)

About You

You’ll be someone who:

• Enjoys repetitive, hands-on work and finds satisfaction in getting the job done right
• Is reliable and available to work Monday to Friday
• Is organised and able to prioritise tasks
• Works quickly while maintaining accuracy
• Has an excellent eye for detail
• Takes pride in keeping shelves full, stock accurate and the store looking its best
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Has good communication skills
• Has experience in stock control (preferred)
• Has experience in a customer service role

Your Responsibilities

As our Stock Controller / Console Operator, you will:

• Manage and maintain accurate store stock levels
• Replenish shelves and rotate stock
• Conduct stock counts and stock audits
• Perform quality control checks
• Merchandise stock to a high standard
• Assist customers when required
• Process sales for fuel, food and retail products
• Help maintain a clean, safe and organised store
