• 5am start (duration 5-6 hours)

• $30.98/hour weekday (Age 20+)
• $40.42/hour weekend (Age 20+)

At The Station Grocer, we run the best coffee, food and fuel sites in The Northern Rivers and we’re looking for a dedicated self starter who loves working with food and keen to be part of a great team.

Successful applicants must have:

• Ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently
• Team player
• Manual dexterity and a good sense of taste
• Care in the presentation of prepared food
• Well presented appearance
• Reliable and available to work early starts & weekends

Your Role

• Complete all food prep (slicing vegetables / meats)
• Assemble the food menu (breakfast offer, rolls, wraps and baguettes)
• Display prepared food in display fridges/ovens
• Offer consistency and a high food standard
• Maintain food safety and hygiene practices when handling or preparing food
• Maintain a clean and tidy store (including forecourt), stock shelves and rotate stock
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to store standards
• Provide customer service when needed (receive and process payments for petrol, food, other goods)
