Console Operator

The Station Grocer is currently seeking a talented customer service team member to join us at our Goonellabah location.

• casual position
• closing shifts: 3-11pm
• 2-3 shifts available per week including weekend shifts
• $30.98/hour weekday (for ages 20+)
• $40.42/hour weekend (for ages 20+)

• Hard working, with a fun and friendly attitude
• Experience in a customer focused role
• Good communication skills

• Well presented appearance
• Reliable and available to work

Your Role

• Delight customers by providing an exceptional experience
• Manage & prioritise competing tasks
• Receive and process payments for petrol, food, other goods
• Maintain food safety and hygiene practices when handling or preparing food
• Maintain a clean and tidy store (including forecourt), stock shelves and rotate stock
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to store standards
